Irving Arts Center's new TGIF Comedy Nights series returns Friday, July 28, featuring standup comedians Arvin Mitchell with support from Aaron Aryanpur.  With an array of impressions, stories, gestures, and faces, Arvin Mitchell’s memorable performances are sure to please. As the former cohost of BET’s Club Comic View, Arvin has been
featured on Kevin Hart’s “One Mic Stand,” Tony Rock’s “The Funny Spot” and has been nominated as one of NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity top comics.  Named “Funniest Comic in Texas” in 2012, Aaron Aryanpur made his national TV debut on FOX’s Laughs and was a Semifinalist in both Comedy Central’s Up Next Talent Search and NBC’s Stand
Up for Diversity. His 2016 album “In Spite Of” reached #1 on the Billboard Comedy Albums Top 10 list. While Aaron’s act covers a variety of topics in his stand-up, he is perhaps most known for his hilarious takes on marriage and parenthood.
