The GRAMMY Museum will welcome acclaimed jazz saxophonist Azar Lawrence for an intimate conversation moderated by Scott Goldman, discussing Lawrence’s longtime career playing alongside iconic musicians and artists. Following the conversation, Lawrence will perform live with his band, The Azar Lawrence Experience. Over the course of Azar Lawrence’s career, he has performed, composed and/or recorded with such groundbreaking icons as McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Azar's 2018 album Elementals reached #2 on the jazz charts and received praise from music critics comparing him to Coltrane. In 2017 Concord Music reissued his 1975 album Bridge into the New Age, while Azar's 1976 album Summer Solstice, remastered in High Definition Vinyl, will be reissued by Concord Music on November 15.Location:
